HK Society of Wargamers club meeting yesterday - amidst many other games in a record turn out - saw a refight of the Battle of Ameixal using the Twilight of Divine Right rules and lots of 10mm figures.

An excellent game and of a period I've not heard of before! Lots of interesting stuff though for sure and nice to see a different P&S period being gamed :) .

It was completely new to me as well before I bought the scenario book.  There is also a scenario for the early battle of Montijo.  Quite a lot of other battles were fought during this war that ran from 1640 to 1667, so scope to develop some more scenarios.  A knowledge of Portuguese might help as sources in English seem limited!
