Managed to get in a game of The Men Who Would Be Kings tonight. Rather than singly mounted 28mm figures, the 20mm round bases have multiple 10mm figures on them. Figures are a mix of Old Glory and Pendraken. The scenario was "Run for the Hills", where a British force was tasked with making it to the other side of the table. A larger Zulu horde would be coming from both sides to stop them.

The British valiantly survived (barely) but lost the battle in terms of victory points. It was the first time my gaming buddy and I played TMWWBK so we may have missed things but we had fun! More pics and storyline here: https://lecoqfou.blogspot.com/2024/05/tmwwbk-run-for-hills.html
A fine game and glad you both had fun :) !
Cool!
I started a project along these lines - and really like how yours has turned out. Maybe I'll get back to mine at some point! But there are a lot of Zulu's need!
A good looking game. I like TMWWBK, it always give a fun (if usually very bloody) game!
Cool report
Thanks for the comments. The game was definitely fun and definitely bloody!
A great report and nice looking mix of photos. Well done!

Firstly I'm disappointed in the rest of the forum - I gave you the perfect lead in line - and you've all missed it.
Surely the only response here is - there's thousands of them!
Had chance to read the full report - and it does look good - I started off a lot smaller, with multi-based figures and keeping the figure count the same, whilst dropping the base count. Which makes the painting quicker, but units do look quite small, and don't take up much space. I might re-look at this as your bigger units do look good.
TMWWBK is a good straight forward set. We found giving every unit leader their own trait was a bit much, probably 1 or 2 per force (or player) is fine.
