Title: Artillery caissons
Post by: PedroSwift on 03 March 2024, 11:40:34 AM
I'm waiting for my General d'Armee 2 order to arrive in the post. I have heard the new rules require markers for ammo and I'd like to use Napoleonic caisson models for this. I've looked through the Pendraken catalogue and haven't found that I'm looking for. Did I overlook them? If they aren't there, could they please be added to the range? Just the same model would do, no horse teams and crew needed, as I intend to use the same model for all nations.

No, you didn't overlook them.  The only caissons available in the Pendraken ranges are the British ones - NBR31 and 32.  If you want French ones you'll have to go to Lancer Miniatures which is where I get mine from.  Alternatively Old Glory do French and Austrian Caissons in their 10mm Grand Scale range.

Thanks John, I'll put in an order at Lancer Miniatures.

For whatever it is worth, as another alternative if you only need a couple of "supply wagons" for GdA the SYW supply carts are nice in the misc section.  I am in the US so I own a mix of Old Glory and random Pendraken wagons to mix up the supply trains.
