Title: Review of the Peninsular War Atlas
Post by: goat major on 24 February 2011, 10:21:43 AM
There's a good review of the new Peninsular War Atlas to be found on the Adventures In Miniature Gaming blog http://adventuresinminiaturegaming.blogspot.com/2011/02/peninsular-war-atlas-by-nick-lipscombe.html (http://adventuresinminiaturegaming.blogspot.com/2011/02/peninsular-war-atlas-by-nick-lipscombe.html)

This does sound like an excellent resource - i don't even do Napoleonics and i'm already thinking about getting it!

It is a brilliant book with a good general history to boot. It also deals with the Franco-Spanish battles in a good and fair way and does not concentrate just on the far fewer Anglo-French battles. Try amazon who had it on a brilliant deal when I bought it at Christmas

Very much in the style of Esposito & Elting who did the Nap Atlas for West Point years ago
