We're very excited to announce the launch of our first two 10mm Sci-Fi ranges! The Human Collective and Human Empirical are now up on the website and available.
With the launch of Games Workshop's new Epic (in 8mm) and the impending launch of Mantic's Epic too (in 12mm), 2024 is going to be a massive year for smaller scale Sci-Fi games. We'll be working on our own Future War Commander rules over the course of the year, so we'll have more news on that for you as we progress.
These packs are all structured to provide a unit/base worth of figures, aside from the infantry that come in larger packs. The vehicles include driver/commander torsos too, to add a bit of extra detail.
All of these new figures are sculpted by Phil Lewis, along with vehicles/support weapons by Dennis Smith.

The next two ranges will be launched in around a fortnight, and then the 5th & 6th ranges will arrive in early February.
Outstanding Leon :D
They are looking great :) :) :)
Very tempting if I didn't already have a shed load of 15's 6s and a few 28's.
Great to see these in production!
I hope the general interest in small scale SciFi boosts Pendraken sales.
What would be handy is if on the vehicles you could give an indication of hull sizes, as this does help with those of us wanting to add to existing collections. I'm afraid I've got far too much 6mm Sci Fi to switch to 10mm, but I can certainly see some of the vehicles extending current collections.

One step ahead of you there! Already on the site in the product info:
"Pack contains 1 hull, 1 turret, 2 side spikes, 2 front spikes, 2 commanders (vehicle hull measures 40x20x12mm)"
Cool - I'll admit to only having looked at one, and not seen it!
Gentlemen.
I have not been well of late. This year I started with a cough that became a bad cough which became covid, which became a slight touch of pneumonia. I spent several days in bed with 2 duvets, 2 blankets, a jumper and hot water bottle. Huzzah for the good folk of the NHS and their generosity in letting me stay with them for a couple of nights.
Throught this bout, (and I don't want to be overdramatic here) I knew that I would pull through - my Lead Mountain told me it was not yet my time - and I had hope and expectation. Leon had promised the SF ranges would be released. I would see this great event, and spit in Charon's eye!
Daily, I would access the Pendraken website using gen-Z tools, which are not suitable for my cave-bear paws. No SF. No releases. Nothing. I will not lie, this constant chain of disappointments drew the very vital life-force from me, and I would flop back on the pillow, exhausted by effort and hopelessness.
Despite these setbacks, my strength improved, and on Saturday I managed to sit at my desk, strapped to the chair like Charlton Heston at the end of El Cid. Sorrowfully I beheld the sad spectacle of half painted figures, mocking me with their reminder of Christmas and the optimism of that season, and knowing it would be some days before my hands would be steady enough to warrant a brush.
I checked the Pendraken website again, using my grown up adult PC. No new releses. No SF for me to study and think about and plan and scheme. Nothing. I had some strength and it was Pendraken Ordering Day. I will not lie, I was caught in a dilemma. Wait awhile for the SF, or go ahead and order the last of the Napoleonic French.
The lure of the new fought with the logic of completing the purchase phase of a project. I needed some retail therapy to raise my morale. I coughed and there in my handkerchief were some spots of blood. It was a scarlet message - "buy something - grant yourself the fillip, something to look forward to" - and so wearily I placed my January order for French Napoleonics.
Somwhere in Middle-Borough a dimpled nostril flared. A dimpled hand moved with the sinewy grace of a sea-snake, and removed the silken shade from eyes the colour of finest blue topaz. Sculpted eyebrows drew down in faint concentration. Then a smile that would (and has) made fools of the strongest men came to lips reddened with the finest artistry.
"My love?!" called Milday, for it was she (who did you think it was? Birkenhead Kermit?) raised herself on one dimpled elbow. The Dark Lord hurried to her presence, smoothing down his pinny and pocketing the duster.
"My love," continued Milady, "Nobby has put in an order. RELEASE THE SF!"
She lay back with a sigh of contentment, as the Dark Lord hurried to do her bidding.
I am wondering if I should give Phalanx a miss this year?
I mean this in a kind and loving way, but the command figures couod eaily be transplanted to other eras and dominions. :-\
... and I've ordered some.
On a side note, blood in your phlegm is usually considered a bad sign Nobby.
Get well soon.

I see you as more like the Omega Man

Sorry to hear you've not been well, I hope you're feeling better soon.
Apologies for the delay at the weekend as well, the eldest needed to get back to Uni in Bangor so I was nominated as taxi driver for him. I didn't get back 'til gone midnight and it was too late to get the SF pics edited. Thanks for the order too, I'll get that rushed through and out to you this week.

Oh no, I'd picked a scab earlier. :D

Thank you for the your concern.
I am much better now. Still a bit coughy and will be pathetically weak if anyone is watching, but much, much better.
QuoteApologies for the delay at the weekend as well,
No apologies needed - I'm just using it to feed my victim narrative. :D
Hope you feel loads better really soon, Nobby !
