The answer is yes. It seems I have been erasing the wrong https and also the [img]s which also appear to need to be left in. Anway first photo is the useful French books on the FPW which are great for uniform details.

This second one is from my Austrian collection, which has been dormant for about 5 years, but with a return of mojo, I have decided to get on with an Austro-Prussian 1866 project. I dug out this gun. It is a huge improvement on the original which I bought 20+ years ago. However, for the gunner's uniforms I was looking in Ralph Weaver's book on Custozza 1866 and there is an illustration of an Austrian mountain gun, which looks remarkably like the old sculpt of the Austrian 4pdr. Another happy coincidence, and a new lease of life for my old guns.
Nice to see old kit getting a new lease of life as it were Andy :) . Love the gun with its seat, which I presume it is?
That is the new sculpt Steve. It is much more accurate than the old sculpt, which was smaller, shorter and lacked the seat. However it does have the silhouette of the mountain gun.
Thanks for the clarification Andy :) .
