Title: Free Wargame Scenarios from Australia
Post by: Digger on 07 September 2023, 12:23:50 AM
Hello
My Blog has 55+ scenarios for people to access. I have tried to do original scenarios wherever possible, and I add about one per month. They are designed for Fire and Fury rules that I have adapted across periods, but they are really easy for you to adapt to your rule sets, as well as figure scale. We playtest at least twice to fine tune but I always welcome feedback on how they might be improved.

My personal favourites are Lone Jack (ACW), Second Day at Dresden (Napoleonics) and Verona (Ancients).
Enjoy

Ancient (14)
Dark Ages (5)
Medieval (1)
AWI (3)
Napoleonic (9)
War of 1812 (yet to post)
Spanish Wars of Liberation (yet to post)
ACW (14)
Colonial (2)
WW1 (2)
WW2 (3)
Korea (1)
Vietnam (3)

Yep, drawn some interest from me. Thanks for this generous service to fellow gamers. The sand table looks great! (I shan't be copying that, though - too difficult to haul it down to the club on a Monday night ...)

I wanted to look at the ACW and War of 1812 scenarios but the tabs aren't working for me. Am I doing something wrong?

Excellent blog for me the ACW and Medieval tabs didn't work! No real issue as a scroll will find the games.

"they are designed for Fire and Fury rules that I have adapted across periods"
Do you have  a F&F ancients/medieval set? Would love to see that to see how it compares to mine.
We have adapted F&F to Napoloenics & colonial/late 19th century, & have been trying to make an ECW and ancients/medieval derivative.

Welcome from across the "pond" Digger.

Thanks for sharing your scenarioes, looks like you've put a lot of time into each of them.

For what its worth when using Firefox I have no issues with accessing the different periods via your tabs.

Keep up the good work...as stated further down the thread I'm sure your blog will get quite a few hits from this forums members.

Cheers
Peter

Hello folks
Thanks for the positive feedback hope these are useful.
I have now fixed the TABS for Medieval and ACW.
I apologize if some of the photos have out of focus objects in front of them. They will be the corks hanging off my hat.
Crikey!

I'm a South African. Teasing Strines comes more naturally to me than Taff-baiting, though for Techno I'll make an exception.
