Hi,
We are reading evasive action rule on page 50 and the example on page 51 and it says the opposite. It's greater or less than the cover of the unit?
On the other hand, page 58's table indicates that full AFV's are hit on 6s by aircrafts; example on page 59 on 4s. Wich one is correct?
Thanks.
Aircraft hit AFV on 6 regardless of terrain.
I'll check Page 59 but I suspect that it is an errata that may not have been corrected.
Nothing is impossible to fit - so even if the AFV is in rough terrain it cannot make it harder to hit (e.g. hit on 7+ on a d:6).
Thanks
Mark
Hi Mark,
First of all thanks. I suspect that example from page 59 is the same from CWC 1, where aircraft hit depending on the terrain (4s in this case).
As for evasive action, wich one is correct, page 50 or 51? I've to roll less or greater than cover?
Thanks again.
Hi BTM
Generally, when I was 'reconstructing' BKCIV from BKCII/III I generally tried to maintain the core principles of the rules.
So with an Evade move it will be like a passing a Command order - you'll need to score the required number or under it. So you'll need to roll the same as cover or under it to pass (the same as in BKCII).
Again, I suspect that it is probably a transcription Errata that I've not picked up yet.
We'll log that and add it to the Master Errata sheet.
Many thanks
Mark
Thanks a lot Mark!
