I am looking for some Japanese naval crew to man some WW2 landing craft. I have searched the internet with no success, Does the hive mind know of any or suitable proxies.
Japanese soldiers with soft caps might substitue, but no sailors.
Hello Orcs
I agree with Lord K of B, from what I've found the soft cap seems to be the normal wear:-

Of course if you're going for a more generic naval look you could use the WW1 German East African sailors.

Be aware that the Japanese Army had its own 'navy' as well as transports and landing craft they even had a couple of 'aircraft carriers' (amphibious assault ships).
Army uniforms would be completely appropriate :)
Thanks all for your help.
I am afraid they are the wrong scale Grumpy, but something else I could look for

Hi
What scale are you after?

The title says 20mm. Thinking about it I do have some 20mm German? sailors but can't remember where I got em from.

Ahh that's why I didn't see it, it wasn't repeated every second word.....
The only other option I can think of plastic Strelets artillery crews:-

Yers I have looked at various Japanese hoby stores with no luck, also looked for 3d prints. So looks liek I will have to look at Japanese infantry for suitable poses
