Title: Ww2 company attack frontage
Post by: Last Hussar on 29 June 2023, 08:31:10 AM
Hi all. What would be a good attack frontage for a British company in June/July 1944?

You might find Stephen Thomas's website useful to help answer that question Last Hussar:

He plays a lot of Crossfire with a Kiwi gamer I know who moved to the UK many moons ago.

Depends on terrain, smaller in close terrain. The space between men is 5-10m so a platoon would cover about 200m in open terrain (assumes 2 up one back) this would give a company frontage of 200 to 5/600m if  1 up or 2 up.
