Can we say we overstand something which eludes our comprehension? Do the forces which defeat a coup d'etat underthrow the government? Do overtakers exhume the buried? If you overtake a task, does that bespeak an intention not to perform it? And if I, as a wargamer, inscout my enemy, have I neglected my light troops and left myself vulnerable to ambushes and other nasties?
An instanding group of questions!
Just to digress... ;)
When I hear the lyric from Disney 'The Lady And The Tramp' song, (Dean martin, I think?)...
"When the Moon Hits Your Eye, Like a Big Pizza Pie... (That's Amore)"
... for some reason, I blame Dumbo! :o ;)
When an eel bites your hand
With a pain you can't stand,
That's a moray.
When you're feeding a horse
Who wants more than one course,
That's some more hay.
When a beam from the sun
Hits the heath where we run,
That's a moor ray.
etc. etc.
OUCHHHH

To digress further, Dean actually sang that in the 1953 Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis comedy film The Caddy, not The Lady and the Tramp, so I'm afraid you can't blame the flying elephant! Jazz legend Peggy Lee sang (and co-wrote) most of the songs for L&TT.
You are right, Sunjester! Got it confused with Bella Note. But... has been about 55 yrs, since watched! ;)
I see you have been docent, I am whelmed.
