Title: Cruel Seas - Mines ?
Post by: Sunray on 14 May 2023, 09:17:51 AM
One for you naval buffs. The 1/300 mines in the Cruel seas range. Would they pass in a 1/200 scale game without being too much "Wendy" in apperance?

Probably a bit small...

These mines are small .... but those are far away :)

If you can cope with 6mm houses and 10mm figures they should be fine.

Thanks for thoughts.

In terms of houses, I have none in 6mm, but quite a few of the 15mm Hovels which are neat in that scale (less than 1/100) before the creep started.

Having looked at the cruel seas mines, I think you could easily produce your own using small beads

That's a thought! with wire and green stuff drum sticks.

The island of Vesta is threatened by bilgerent neightbour who has an historic claim going back to Ottoman empire. (This is an update of an old Charles Grant exhibition game set in horse & musket era. My game owns a lot to Cyprus1970s).

Three possible invasion bays, and the Vestise Defence Forces have mines for one possible bay. Dice decides the rest.
