Title: The Battle for Heimsdorf 1944
Post by: Steve J on 24 October 2022, 03:47:43 PM
A small BKC action I played out over the weekend on a 2' x 2' table:

Good looking game! Love the cluttered battlefield, makes it look bigger than a 2' x 2'.

What an attractive layout, Steve! And all on a 2' x 2' playing surface (isn't that also the standard DBA playing area?).  :-bd

That's part of the beauty of the smaller scales like 10mm. Gone are the days when I used to lust after games on big tables. Most of my games are now played seated before a surface no greater than 3' x 3' and often smaller - so relaxing and with everything within easy reach.

Aside from a 'normal' BKC game which I normally play on a 4' x 4' table, my other games are basically 2 1/2' x 3 1/2', which equates to a 5' x 7' table for 28mm figures. Much easier on the back, fits on the dining table with room to spare :) .

As the others have said, a good looking game Steve.

You certainly managed to get a lot of troops on play! Many years ago I did play some small games of BKC and they worked ok. But normally we succumb to megalomania and want a big table with loads of models on it.
