After the successful release of the BMP-1 and T-64s, which were designed digitally, we're ploughing ahead with some more Soviet kit for the 60s/70s and beyond.
The BMP-1P was a later version of the BMP-1 with an added a ATGW launcher to the turret, produced from 1979-83. Work had already started in 1972 on upgrading the BMP-1 and in 1980 the BMP-2 arrived with a larger turret, new armament and improved armour. The -2D version had applique armour added and saw service in the Soviet-Afghan war.

The BRM-1 was a reconnaissance vehicle based on the BMP-1 chassis and this -1K is the command version of that with an antenna and smoke grenade launchers on the side of the turret. The BRDM-2 was brought in to replace the poorly received BRDM-1 and was extensively exported to the other Warsaw Pact nations and beyond, with over 7000 produced. We've got the regular and command versions here.

All of these saw wide use all of the world and some of them are still in service today. We'll get them moulded up and hopefully released before the end of the month.
Very nice sculpted
Good stuff, but where are the Cheiftain and FV432 (youse wuz warned :D
Very nice master 3D prints there 8) .
Now I have choices! :(
That BRDM-2 looks particularly appetising.
@Leon, will they be resin or metal?
Please note: either answer will be deemed wrong by some sectors of the forum, so as usual you can't win.
Quote@Leon, will they be resin or metal?
I second that question :D

Are the FV432 and Chieftain due 2022 or later or much later
Am sooooo close to buying from a competitor, can feel the shame! ;)
Leon talked about 3D masters so I presume they will be cast in lead from moulds made from resin masters? No doubt when Leon isn't drowning in show related work we will learn the actual answer. :)

Well that's what Andy Kirk is doing for H&R 6mm. Where are the Cheiftain and FV432 (youse wuz warned :D
Gentlemen.
I am ashamed to say that having succumbed, in a moment of weakness, to about a battle group of Cold War British from the Falklands range, and hearing the undertone of the Dark Lord's response to my October 2022 wish list, https://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,22033.0.html (https://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,22033.0.html) I am ashamed to say that I have fallen and *gulp* gone elsewhere for my Chieftains and FV432s.
I realise this falls somewhat short of my own standards, and rest assured that these inferior pieces will be replace by proper Pendraken alternatives as soon as they become available.
I offer no defence apart from low moral fibre and a momentary lapse in sound judgement.
Quote... a momentary lapse in sound judgement.
:o =O
If fsn can slip then i feel that a mild lapse on my behalf is acceptable.
Very nice looking models but I already have several 6mm BMP regiments hiding in my cupboard that are seldom used and I have probably had far too many "momentary lapses in sound judgement" already this year for Mrs Shy's liking ;)
.....but its only 3 months till 2023! ;D
Oh bless you!
When it comes to Pendraken, I slip more than a man with an inner ear problem, on a wet ice-rink and wearing nylon socks soaked in melted butter.
And he's drunk.
I plan for one order per month. I give myself a budget figure which is about as realistic as if it had been set by Kwasi Kwarteng.
13th July - planned monthly purchase - Danish Napoleonics
16th July - Wow! Cold War! US & Soviets, please. May as well chuck in some more Danes as well.
18th July - Ummm ... you know the Napoleonic Poles that you finished? With just a few more packs ... Oh and chuck in some cavalry for the Danes
28th July - Birthday gift voucher. Mustn't buy anything that I've bought before. Time to start on Imperial Romans!
30th July - I think I'm running out of round bases. Better get some Roman archers and cavalry to pad out the order.
12th August - Planned monthly order - Finish off the Danish cavalry. Oh and some more Romans 'cos why not?
16th August - I need a M60 machine guns for the US infantry. Could do with some more Soviet riflemen. Oh, and officers. Oh, get a BMP as well - just to see what it looks like.
18th August - Whilst looking through the ancients, one realises that one is quite short of Hoplites. And peltasts. Better get some, 'cos you're gonna finish off the Danes and then be on an Ancients run.
22nd August - Oh! We're a bit short of Roman officers - better get some. If we're getting a BMP, better get an M113 as well, and whilst there an M60 would be useful. To examine, you understand.
11th September - planned monthy purchase - Roman auxiliaries and more M60s.
21st September - well why don't you have Cold War British? Better remedy that!
23rd September - For Shame (1)! Some French style cassions, please? Did the Danes use them? Welllll ... sort of, but they'd be good for the Bavarians and Wurttembergers you "finished" months ago.
8th October - For Shame (2)! Those British need some Chieftains and FV432s - panic buy them NOW!
14th October - planned monthly purchase - Finish off the Danish infantry (again) and some of those nice new Peninsular buildings
15th October - Well, air support is very important. Why have Stingers, Blowpipes and Strelas if you don't have anything for them to shoot at? Better get some Raiden ground attack aircraft, oh, and finish off the M113 and M60 purchases.

On the bright side you are personally funding Leon's sport's car!
First time I ever heard the Pendraken buggy described as a sports car - where are the Cheiftain and 432 ?
I prefer to think that my frequent but pitiful additions to the Pendraken coffers are used solely for the purposes of ensuring Milady is regularly presented with bouquets of seasonal blooms and maintained in delicate morsels as dictated by her fancy.
I mean, it's no more than she is due. :-[
Thought the morsals were casting dwarves who stepped off their allotted posts! :D

Well, indeed they are ... but top quality sauces, marinades, relishes and chutneys aren't cheap! ;)

All metal castings, we're using 3D printed masters rather than traditional scratch-built models but still the same end result.

My what?! Adele's car broke down before the summer so I'm having to drive the Pendraken van as my daily ride, which isn't much fun! It's a bit of a big lump, so it doesn't like car parks or small roads and it does 0-60 in about 3 weeks...
And has very limited vision. Where arethe Cheiftain and FV432

I am not convinced that any member of this forum can claim "Sound judgement" as one of their virtues. :D

Just needs badging with Pendraken logos

Your just groveling to make sure she does not put prone figures in your order. :)

Well Nobby that's your challenge for 2023-2034, buy enough Pendraken products to buy M'lady a sports car. :)

As long as she doesn't make them prone figures by snapping off the bases - which she could certainly do with one snip of her delicately manicured nails (as opposed to chewing them.)

Well, as long as it's second hand ... :D

Come on then, own up! Which comedian sent Adele a 'new' car?!
A lovely little toy Lamborghini arrived at work yesterday, which took us all a bit by surprise! It's a bit small for a daily-driver but it'll get fantastic fuel consumption.
Not me honest.
Would I do such a thing?
Did she love it?

I have been unjustly blamed in the past.
I doubt it was unjust, unfair or inaccurate.
