It's the big one! Salute this year is on Saturday 16th April, and we'll be there with bells on! Well, maybe not bells...
As usual, if you'd like anything bringing along, PLEASE make sure to get your orders in early, as we'll be run off our feet in the run-up to this one. At least 7 days before the show, but as we'll be driving down to London on the Thursday beforehand, if you can get them to us earlier, please do.
For more info: http://www.salute.co.uk/ (http://www.salute.co.uk/)
Can we send several smaller orders as we run into them or would that be hard to handle from your side? I'm gonna have to retrace my posts and look at stuff I mustn't forget to order...

As long as you an get them to us early enough, not a problem. If you send us an email on the Thursday before the show though, you may be out of luck... :D
Remember folks, pre-orders in as early as possible please!
I'll be in Portugal! :(
Might send Mark from Timecast with some of my pennies ;)

Hiya fellows,
Anyone from London or who really knows his way around can tell me what is the fastest way from St Pancras to Excel?
I'm not looking for the 2 subway + docks line ride, I know that, but I wonder, would a cab be faster? would I have to make a reservation to make sure that one is available when I arrive in St Pancras? Or will traffic be so bad that it'll take me over half an hour as well?
I know my way around the tube, have an oyster card and everything, the trouble is not getting there, it's trying to get there faster :D
I don't think you'll manage it any quicker than half an hour by taxi Pruneau - plus you might be forking out £20+ each way. You'll easily get one from the taxi rank - there's hundreds of em! Not sure how many are around for the journey back though.
In other news i've been surprisingly granted a day-pass to go to Salute and my lad wants to go too. So now i'm officially excited :D
Get around London, fast :-\ :-\ :'( ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Sorry not a hope. People on foot have been known to beat the traffic :-[
Northern Line and DLR is your best bet without spending a fortune on taxis which probably won't get you there a lot quicker in any case.

Get on the M25, leave to South, East or North, on no account turn inward. :d :d
Only 1 week to go 'til the order deadline!
OK, thanks for the tips, Circle line to Tower, walk to Tower Gateway, DLR to Custom House, that's gonna be it then.
Motorbike taxi is the way forward if they are still going
Only 3 days left for any pre-orders! :!!
Last call for show orders! Any received after today won't be guaranteed to be waiting for you next Saturday!
The M1 is to remain closed for several more hours as thousands of people head to London for one of the biggest weekends in the sporting calendar.
The motorway has been shut both ways between junctions one and four, between Brent Cross and Elstree, Hertfordshire, since Friday after a scrapyard fire.
The capital is hosting two FA Cup semi-finals, Pendraken (@ Salute) and the London Marathon.
The Highways Agency said it was hoping to open at least one northbound lane by the time the match finishes at Wembley.
Southbound will remain closed until they know it is safe.
Motorists are advised to avoid the M1 and continue to use alternative routes and a clearly signed diversion which can be found on the Highways Agency website (http://www.highways.gov.uk/traffic/traffic.aspx).
Drivers who planned to use the M1 were rerouted onto the M6, where traffic is building up, and the M40.
We heard about the scrapyard on the way down Friday morning, but luckily we turned onto the M25 before we hit that. Dave said the journey in on Saturday morning from Hemel was fine, and we got out OK as well, straight onto the M11 and away.
Hope the show went well for you. It was good to get to meet you at last Leon. Now i am having to think about how to slot that LofA sampler into my painting schedule ...... just knowing that it will lead to more and more and.....

Good to meet you too! We went through quite a few of the LofA samples, so I'm hoping for a lot of interest when the first batch is released in May.
Also, I'll have the Show Report and pics up tonight when I get in from work.
Looking forward to the report and pics.
Apologies for the delay on the Show Report, turns out I took a few more pics than I thought, and it took 2 hours to upload them last night! Report will be done tonight while watching United stuff the Geordies... :P
