This year's Battleground show will be taking place on Saturday 26th November in our usual venue of the Queen's Campus Sports Hall in Stockton-on-Tees, TS17 6BH. The show is open 10am until 3pm and entry is completely FREE!
The trader forms have all gone out and we'll start confirming those soon. There will be some new faces coming along this year so keep an eye out for those and we'll be updating the website as we receive the bookings: https://www.battlegroundshow.co.uk/traders (https://www.battlegroundshow.co.uk/traders)
The games booking forms will be going out this coming weekend and we're expecting the usual fantastic selection of display and participation games to be available. As with the traders, we'll be updating the game details as we receive the bookings: https://www.battlegroundshow.co.uk/games (https://www.battlegroundshow.co.uk/games)
The Tabletop Sale will be running as usual and we expect it to be fully booked once again. We'll open the bookings for this in September so keep an eye out for an announcement for that. You can book a table at £1.50 per half hour and sell off any unwanted goodies you might have. You can deal with the customers directly, offload some kit and then go buy something new from the traders!
All of the show info can be found on either the Battleground website here: http://www.battlegroundshow.co.uk/ (http://www.battlegroundshow.co.uk/) or our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/BattlegroundShow?ref=hl (https://www.facebook.com/BattlegroundShow?ref=hl) If you've got any questions about the event, just let us know.
So, don't forget to tell your friends about the FREE ENTRY and we'll see you there!
FRais a 3hour drive is a tad too much for me. Love to come but.....

I hope everyone has a great day out. Sadly way too far away from Bristol, so will have to make do with our local show, Reveille, on Sunday.
Rail strike on Saturday as well, so that may hurt attendance :(.
Good luck, hope it goes well.
Yeah, rail strike snookered my plans so won't make it this year. Next year, I hope!
I hope all involved have a great day
Yeah, the rail strikes aren't going to help. I'm not sure how many come on the train but hopefully it won't impact attendance too much.
Is that Dave Lanchester Books link a bit odd?...

I've just had a look and it's not a lot of books is it...! I'll ask Dave about that and see what's going on.
How did the show go?

Lots and lots of stuff to see! Shame its on the other side of the country to me...
It went really well, record numbers through the door and everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves. I'll get our pics sorted along with a report tonight/tomorrow.
All the reports I've seen so far have said it was the best show yet and all seemed to have had a great time :) .

Excellent :)

Great to hear it went well #:-S
I will have to make the effort. It's only an hour more away by car for me than Colours, so not that great a challenge, and a lot less fraught than going to Salute.
