Got acrylic disks to represent spinning rotors but problem of how to secure them
Found some brass tubing, the Pendraken models have a protusion on top of the engine which the tube sits on, dob of superglue and fixed. Drill hole in acrylic disk , push drawing pin through and glue. Minifigs were different, no convenient bump to secure brass tube to, so drilled a hole. Decided to drill some more, bit gets stuck and wont budge. Ok theyre not that pricey so slide tube over the top, drill acrylic as before and fix to top of former drill bit. WIP below, excuse pics as using phone but hopefully give an idea

Are those the American Minifigs choppers or what? How do they compare size wise with Leon's Huey?
Yes one is Minifigs the other is Pendraken. Bit more detail on the Pendraken but door gunners on the Minifig. Size wise theyre the same
Almost there :)
