Post by: turko on 11 February 2011, 12:34:39 AM
Hi guys

Just wanted to introduce myself as i have collected miniatures but have never done any wargaming i just enjoy setting them up and admiring them.  Maybe i should try wargaming.

Anyway i have had a board made for WW1 from TM Terrain which they have done a great job on.  I have some WW1 painted British German and French but not many.  So was wondering if anyone knows who is good at painting WW1 and could copy the way my others are painted.  Oh and i will be buying them from Pendraken.

Cheers

Luke

Hi Luke, welcome to the Forum!

There are a few painters lurking about here, so some of them may fancy a bit of WWI!

I've had a quick browse through our 'Clubs and Societies' board, but the closest one we've got listed is in Wells, which might be a bit of a drive! (http://midsomersetwargamers.nicksweb.co.uk/ (http://midsomersetwargamers.nicksweb.co.uk/))

However, a quick Google threw up this one: http://www.winchesterwargamers.hampshire.org.uk/ (http://www.winchesterwargamers.hampshire.org.uk/) which might be slightly more local!
