A quick greeting from Vancouver. Just got a copy of cold war commander & put an order in for my first 10 mm figures on Pendrakens AWI range..

Hi Bob,
welcome to a forum that is by turns sympathetic, supportive, stimulating, scholarly ... and strange :)
If you have questions, ask. If you have opinions, express them. If you have knowledge and expertise share them. If you have photos of your figures and or your games - well as a group we like pictures!
Cheers!
Hi Biob - I represent the strange end ;)
Welcome on board Bob :) .
OK ... Cold War Commander and America Revolution figures?
Does that go together?
Welcome from the mildly curious arm of the forum.
Hello and welcome
Welcome!
Great to have you on-board Bob - I have a mate who is local (ish) to you Graham Beavan (an ex-UK club colleague) I think he's out on the 'island' and he's a big CWC player.
Let me know if you are interested in making a connection
Cheers
Mark
Hi Bob
Welcome!
Cheers Paul
Thanks lads for the hearty welcome. Long time gamer... My family & friends will suggest I have my own warped & strange bent as well.
FSN: no they just don't go together ...but a story... before our first gamming convention in 3 years i saw the release if cold war commander & it covered some of the rather obscure wars so several of us decided we should have a look....then went down to the USA for the connvention... followed up on An AWI post on facebook & bought a copy of the live free or die rules.... Bought very little there (you have no idea how lucky you are for wargame shopping opportunities over there 😀) saw some of Leons 10 mm medeival range.... Followed up & saw pictures of Pendrakens AWI range .... Sorted the decision out on the way home & ordered a rebel army that night. My mate, well he will be representing The king & might be a bit slower on the draw.
Welcome Bob :-h
The AWI range are all lovely sculpts, I'm looking forward to seeing your project progress
Welcome to the forum Bob.
I am sure you will find us freindly, sometimes informative, and occasionally wacky and weird.
