However, I do find people cosplaying Imperial Japanese soldiers slightly weird.

There was at least one guy re-enacting as a US marine

I found the 'tank girl' slightly weirder

The lady above is a brave lass, I hope it wasn't too cold

Typical Japanese, even in demonstrating a restored tank, they have to have a very young woman dressed as a schoolgirl in a very short skirt.
