Right. Go outside and expect someone to soak you with a bucket of iced water within minutes. On the upside, he'll probably offer you a whiskey too.

According to wikipedia (so it must be true)
Songkran occurs at the same time as that given by Bede for festivals of Eostre

Which I think justifies me fielding Thai elephants in my Anglo-Saxon armies through the exchange program. 

perhaps one day our illustrious leader will produce some eastern enemies for those mongols.
