Title: Russians attempt to retake Zelinskigrad.
Post by: FierceKitty on 08 March 2022, 07:53:35 AM
In honour of recent developments, today we're gaming the Battle of Zelinskigrad; Zaporozhian Cossacks have invaded southern Muscovy, and the Russkies have come to debate matters. Watch this space.

Lee was rolling her usual lucky run of good dice, I was getting a slither of snakes' eyes, then she rolled down for a critical morale test. Ukraine wins. May we see the same result elsewhere!

The boyars wasted too much time knocking out the single Cossack gun. Elsewhere, a large Ukrainian warband was saved by the bell, to be honest.

The Jiltsi "angel cavalry" were unlucky. I survived here too. The grand hetman, on the other hand, was blown to bits by the Russian artillery, so Lee had plenty of good luck too, not least when my army refused to move at a critical point. The Tsar's charge with the Dvorani was gratifyingly ineffectual.
