Title: Shopping list memory
Post by: Pruneau on 04 February 2011, 09:06:48 PM
Just a question to know how it works: How long will the shopping list hold your items if you don't order right away?  It looks as if the list is cleared after a few days.

That'll be one for Matt, I'm not sure myself.  I know I can empty all the active baskets through the website admin, but I've never used the function.  The basket will also come up empty every time you've deleted your browser history.

10 Days, unless you clear your history.  :)

Dang, I was hoping to use it as a wishlist so I don't forget all the one-offs I need to get like the US tank commanders, the dead US airborne, boxes, and ...there I already forgot a few terrainy things...   :P

I tend to bung everything in the cart & then print it...& then, as Tom says, stash them away from inquisitive eyes...I'll label the printout [eg Germans Stalingrad] so I can remember what they are; once I've got a few, I'll dig 'em out & bung in an order  8)

It would be nice to save a pending order.

What would be even better would be able to see the name against the product code. There are a couple of times that I have forgotten the odd pack as I haven't spotted it was missing in the list of product codes.

It's also interesting that even with 50p min postage we all save up stuff to make a bigger order.

That's not why I save them up - it's just more satisfying to have a huge parcel arrive  :P :)
