Today we bring you a 15mm AAR between the Soviets and the Blue Division.
Amidst Fall Blau a vicious armoured battle develops near the Volga. Both OKH and STAVKA keep sending units to the area in order to stabilize the front. During the night elements of the Spanish Blue Division together with some armoured support in form of StuG III assault guns enter the area and entrench themselves in order to face the incoming Soviet forces: an infantry section supported by T34/76s and KV-1s. At dawn both forces face each other.

Excellent stuff! Nice to see cavalry used for Eastern Front, both sides had it but wargamers rarely do.

Yes it is nice to see ww2 cavalry. Most wargamers don't seem to bother with any horse drawn artillery either.
I think its partly the additional cost and time of painting cavalry , and the fact that as soon as the shooting starts the men dismount.

Wot? No Italian cavalry attacking mounted, with sabre and hand grenades, complete with trumpeter accidentally shooting his own horse? :)

Excellent game - most inspiring.
What version of BKC are you using?

Great pictures.
It's a brave man who rides a Panzer 1 against T34s
Thank you very much to all!!!
Answering some of the questions.
- We usually play with 15mm miniatures
- The truth is that yes, it is difficult to see cavalry in WWII miniatures Wargames. But we like it a lot, just like the draft mules or the explorers on bicycles, hehehehe, you'll see it soon :P
- We play V4, the last one released, the truth is that it is very good and we like it a lot.
- Yes, the drivers of Pnzr I from Zypheria are brave, :D :D :D
Greetings!!

Great to hear that viiilegion :-[ ... & also nice to see the cavalry in action as well - I'm also all in favor of horse drawn wagons and gun limbers in WW2 games as well.
