In the 1809 list you have the Carabiniers in the uniform of 1811 onwards. Any chance of doing the bearskin unarmored version which I believe is correct for the period. The decree to change to helmet and Breast plate was issued 24 dec 1809, as per wiki.

Perhaps he was confused by the name - no such thing as Carabiniers a Cheval :D
