Lee is confident she can save Gordon and evacuate Khartoum. Is she right? Our war correspondent will report shortly.
Coo, seven minutes and nobody's insulted me yet!
Give us a chance !!!
Cheers - Phil. ;)
(Ladbrokes are offering 5-1 against you.)
Patience dear boy, patience ;) .
Well, they're playing cricket in Khartoum, and the Kaliph was blown to bits by a British shell.
The village of el-Tedi was garrisoned by some poor-quality Cairo foot. The 54th Hampshires seem to be facing a lot of camelry, but they were regrettably efficient in driving them off.
The Baggara cavalry, though few in number, caught the Greys in column and sent them running.
Ladbrokes are shortening the odds. :o :o :o
Cheers - Phil. :)
The Egyptian lancers dismounted and refused to panic, alas. And that tiddly little rocket troop lent decisive aid to the 54th foot. Not looking good.
A heavily-scarred Welsh civilian was found lying in a seriously mutilated state at this stage. The Dervishes had done terrible things to the poor man!
British fire discipline began to tell....
A bit more of our limited success.
Excellent photos, great scenery.
I'm sure I saw Gordon getting javelined on a recent newsflash.
Odd business, he looked just like El Cid.
Cracking looking game - you have serious amounts of arab cavalry to take on the thin red line!
Great looking game and figures. Liking the game mat - which manufacturer?
Tiny Wargames. I'm very pleased with it. And it's got a good meadow surface on the reverse.
Thank you. I have their 'arid' and 'desert' mats. Yours looks good as a mid point between the two. Umm, can I justify that for Xmas? :-\
They call this one "North Africa", I think.
Today, revenge.
The Mahdists pushed forward fast, aware that the weather was a bit threatening. Forward, surge!.jpg
I am sick of this damned programme's telling me I have already posted something which I haven't, or duplicating and refusing to delete surplus images. I won today, though at heavy cost; anyone actually keen on an AAR is invited to check on the FB website.
Well done, Sir !! =D>
(Can't suggest anything re your problems with the photo's....They ARE damn good though !! :-bd )
Cheers - Phil. :)
Alexander - all programs havethe same faults - none work, all cost too much, none appear on time and all are not original.
