Usual Muddle!
I was wondering "Why on Earth?" shift to Oman. Apparently, (From articles, anyway), not.

Seems to be political... military presence in area, stuff.
Hardly think it would be popular with Troops... laws and possible target for Jihadists.

'It is understood the move to the Omani desert is part of plans to modernise the army but also a strategic element in that core British hardware will be closer to partner nations such as Ukraine.'
You've got to laugh!
