Title: WSS French army
Post by: sunjester on 01 February 2011, 01:50:19 PM
I've finally got around to taking some pics of my Pendraken French Army for the War of the Spanish Succession. It's a shame my painting doesn't really do the figures justice, but I think the pictures do show the mass effect that 10mm can offer.

I'm using Black Powder rules for the games with Ian (Last Hussar). The single officers on foot are First Fire markers, to remind me to clain the bonus effect for the first shot!

I've also painted another infantry brigade and cavalry brigade each for Bavaria and Savoy. I'll hopefully get some shots of them soon, maybe even in action!

You have seen them - my battle report!

What he didn't mention is that he appears to have use bullet proof paint - I've never seen anyone make so many 50/50 save rolls.

They look great. Did you use SYW French dragoons?
Cheers,
