Title: Hi from sunny Cheshunt
Post by: Hertsblue on 01 February 2011, 12:39:25 PM
I'm Ray and I've been a wargamer for about four decades now. I can remember the first Salute - when the amnesia clears - which makes me a bit long in the tooth (not to mention eyebrows and ear-hair). I'm interested in anything from the Renaissance to the present day - land, sea or air. Current interest is the later nineteenth century European wars - but this is subject to change without notice. I love 10mm figures - you can have so many of the little blighters and still get them on the table. And they look good en masse.

Oh, yes, and the title was intended to be ironic - it's persisting down here.

Welcome, Ray,

Blimey I thought I went a long way back but I am not sure that even I can remember the first Salute! [why isn't there an emoticon for 'old and wrinkly'?]
