An AAR of a SCW campaign game that I am running with Norm and Jon Freitag. Details of the campaign to follow, but not yet to maintain some fog-of-war.

Wow, lovely looking game.
Have to agree...
Indeed a lovely looking game but a good AAR too!
Inspiring Steve - as always :)
Thanks chaps :). The BKCIV SCW supplement was used to help generate OOB etc and is a brilliant resource as one would expect for this period.
Thanks for running this. The opening table is lovely.

Wot they sed :)
Yep, more of the same and "as above". ;) :)
I half expected the British International brigade lads to have squandered themselves in ultimately fruitless efforts (or perhaps that just how the histories seem to read). Still, it's always good to see that a commander retains an eye for "the bigger picture" and knows when enough is enough. You still need to ensure you keep sufficient safe for the next battle.
As usual, your table set-up is lovely. First rate terrain and a nice variety of miniatures. =D> =D> =D>
I'm sure we're all lookin' forwards to the next battle.
Take care & keep safe,
Geoff
Thanks Paul & Geoff :) :). The joy of a campaign is you cannot afford a Pyrrhic victory at any point, unless sacrificing a unit to buy time etc.
