Eariler in the year Paul and I went on a bit of a road trip to see Rhys, one of our long standing gaming friends, to try out Paul's new 10mm 100 Years Wars DBA armies - http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,20891.0.html
Now it looks like the 10mm bug has bitten Rhys as he's convinced enough to start a couple of 10mm DBA armies himself - http://badlyleadmen.blogspot.com/2021/09/one-down.html
:-bd
All to the good
They do look good and glad to see him dipping his toe so to speak :).
Not really bitten by the bug, more a means to an end.
Every project has a scale which works for it ie 6mm works for large scale 19th and 20th century battles.
In this case 10mm works for DBA on 60mm frontage bases.
I've almost finished the next army (Trapezuntine Byzantine) and the bits for the Knights of St John are somewere between there and here.
After that the plan is to move into Eastern European 15th century armies.
...And as that was your first post....A very warm welcome to the forum, Rhys ! :-h
Cheers - Phil. :)
Yes, fresh here but old everywhere else.
Welcome to the forum Rhys :-h
I'm sure I've seen your signature on a T-shirt ;)
I've also seen you apply it, usually option B ) We're all dead seems to be the result ;D
And a warm welcome to the forum from me too :-h
What sort of Eastern European countries are you looking at doing? Hungarians/Serbs/Imperial Germans etc to oppose the Ottomans?
Yes.......
Tis a bedlam, but the public like watching us, welcome
This isn't Bedlam.....
And the Trapezuntines are mostly done (pictures on the blog).
Next up after the Knights of St John is Hungarians if I can find something to use as the horse archers.
