I am quite enjoying watching tv recorded shows of 'Combat Dealers'. Yes, 'manufactured entertainment'... but, at least it is a field that I have some interest and a 'bit' of knowlege' in.
Some very obscure militaria... but, if you have wondered what colour to paint a 'Field Toilet'... it is silver'ish... at least on the outside! ;D
You get to see some AFVs on the move... and some weapons go Bang... notably an 88! 8)
Occasional useful facts. They 'raced' a 251 and an M3 H/T... and the 251 lost on the chicane because designed to 'Brake' on turning. "Not many people know that!" :o
(So, you can't 'skid turn' your Panzergrenadiers' round corners... Yanks can make a lot of noise... and the tracks stayed on!)
The 'dealing' tends to wear thin and OMG! Those Braces!. But, having run out of new DVD sets to watch for an hour... entertaining. :)
I got into for a while after I was made redundant, but then the format became rather wearing to me. Still fascinating to see what stuff is still out there in private hands or in Frecnh barns in the middle of no where.
Just more "reality" garbage !!!
A back lot full of PAK40 75s! 8)
"Wouldn't It Be Nice.." (BGs?) Wonder how 'big' the fund? Imagine TV was a nice little earner!
I have a weird craving for a WW1 SMLE (Deactivated), or a Webley...(?) lol. :(
But, seeing as this FU'd country says that you cannot sell, gift or even bequeath 'Replica' weapons, now... not going to bother looking into 'licensing'.
You can't even get the 1:1 PLASTIC kits! But, weirdly, 'Airsoft ' 'replicas' may still be availble? Maybe?
Still, some watch DIY / Cooking / Garden 'porn'...WTH! ;D
