All,
Stand by for some gratuitous pics of WWII US Marines in 15mm! I've got troops from Battlefront and Eureka, and some vehicles from Gaming Models and Zvezda. I've been painting my butt off the past year and a half, have completed a bunch of projects, and now I figure it's time to share some photos of them.

The 37mm M-1 anti-tank gun. The crew is from Eureka while the gun is from Battlefront. You can see a great mix of different uniforms in this photo.

Wouldn't be WWII Leathernecks without a flamethrower (from Battlefront) or two ;)

Unfortunately I have not finished up their adversaries. As disciplined as I've been painting and basing (I've got a LOT more to show you), I'm running out of steam. I haven't had much time the past month because of Little League Baseball, but the spare time I have had has seen it very difficult to make myself sit down and paint. Here's to hoping I get over it quick, I can't wait to get my Marines in the Pacific campaign going again!

Jack
Nice stuff Kid
Superb Jack
Lovely stuff, Jack ! :-bd
(That mat looks awesome, as well.)
Cheers - Phil. :)

Seconded on the mat :-bd =D> :-bd =D>
That beach scene is stupendously good. :-bd Almost made my "not after 1900" rule crack. Thank God it was 15mm so my "no new scales" rule comes to my rescue. #:-S
Thanks guys!
I really need some of those "no new scales/no new projects" rules ;)
V/R,
Jack
Excellent work
Great work Jack 8).
Those look great!
Thanks fellas!

Jack
Nicely done! The beach landing scene is excellent.
Glad you liked it, thanks Poggle.

Jack
Gung ho!
Cracking :)
Thanks TP, I appreciate it man! And good to see ya, it's been awhile, hope all is well.
V/R,
Jack
It's decent, but my scope for hobbying about is now extraordinarily limited due to job and family changes (new additions to each :D), not to mention the pandemic excitement of the last year. So my keeping any eye on the Forum has been limited :D
You're cracking on tho, I see :D
Looking good. And I just wanted to say, they seem to have a very good supply officer, as he managed to sneak in a light tank without it appearing on the TOE! Did he perhaps work on a pink sub before being transferred to this outfit?
TP - Congratulations on the addition, but sorry you don't have much time. I'm still doing what I can ;)
Olden - No pink subs, but the Marines are notorious scroungers ;)
V/R,
Jack
Ta :)
That's some quite heavy duty scrounging!
Maybe there's a bank full of gold somewhere behind enemy lines, and they've managed to find an odd ball of a tank crew to help them get there?
Not much chance to find the cheese and wine and baguettes to have whilst the tanks fixed after it breaks down, tho!
Although Crapgames mortars might have an element of naval gunfire to replace that ;)
Lovely work. Makes me want to watch "Sands of Iwo Jima" again.

Grr!
The mortar commander was called Mulligan (and was played by Telly Savalas's brother who was visiting the set for a day).
Ahhhh but it's Crapgame they had to dicker with to get them!

Cept it's Mulligan's mortars !
Already said that! ;D
Sure, but you got to dicker with Crapgame to pay him off ;)
But I'm just sitting here drinking wine, eating cheese and taking some rays.....
I think that's where we came in, sir!
