Today I played out a small 'what if' game for the above mentioned event.
It all went rather well with Sword and Spear rules. I have put up a blog post that sets the scene for the scenario, followed by a short AAR.

Thanks Norm
Since I can't post more than two pix at a time here, I refer anyone interested to my AAR on LAF, which records our WWotR draw today: https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=128570.90
Good battle, though a draw.

Beats me .... I can't post any pictures, it is too fussy about the format, it wants JPEGS rather than jpegs or something like that!
Very much enjoyed your AAR.
Glad you made it to the party too. LAF should be worth watching for the next few days.
Here we go, FK, four images of your game posted without any problem. :)
Very nice they look too. Nice figures and a good AAR! Cheers

Great little scenario Norm and good to see the S&S rules working for a small battle.
Thanks for posting some pics from Alexander's game, which looks great too.
Thrown a lot of threes.
How can I show my thanks, your Grace?
