(deep sigh)
Oh dear, that sigh doesn't sound promising!
Uh oh!
At least Lee's very happy, in her artless Siamese way.
Oh well now we know what's happened . Its just the normal Lee won scenario.
If you must marry the reincarnation of Sun Tzu and then introduce her to wargames, its all your own fault! ;D
Well done Lee :-bd
What happens when you and the opposition both deploy ambushers on different sides of the pyramid. Mine are fleeing in the second picture.
A massive left wing which completely failed to catch even one Conquistador skirmisher.
My centre hit hard and broke up some Tlaxcalans, but we didn't kill one Spaniard all game.
And accumulated losses had my morale so shaky I had to concede at this stage.
Ah, well, we managed to get out hands on some Malmsey this evening, so there'll be a suitable drink to go with the big WotR do on Saturday.
Oh dear indeed, but a great looking game Alexander. At least you can drown your sorrows with some Malmsey at the weekend.
Way to go Lee... :d
Dammit.....I made those especially so you could win occasionally.....and what you do ? :'(
(And you know that I don't want the 'General' to win anymore.)
Cheers - Phil ;)
Told you I needed the cone-headed Xopolli and the slingers in two poses at least!
Don't you start on me.....I gave those figures blood sacrifices, (as in, "Oops....I wonder if Leon will notice the red stuff that's smeared on the green masters, before he puts them in a mould.)
Cheers - Phil. ;)
The Mexican deities appreciate it, and have extended special protection to you ever since. How do you think it comes about that you haven't cut your own head off yet?

Ian...Don't worry...I've already noticed that. ;)
(What's the weather like in the Wirral ?.....It's bloomin' poop here, at the mo'....and that's from me here in SW Wales)
Cheers - Phil. :)
See 'ow wes getin throu it - commented on there.
Always good to see the range hit the table regardless of the outcome :D
Clearly the Spanish are just overpowered, that whole false godhood thing gives them an unfair advantage...
Nice looking game FK, Love the Pyramid. Where did you get it, or is it scratch built?
Bought online, Etsy. I'm not sure it's still to be had, but: https://www.etsy.com/listing/226107027/mayan-temple-models-chichen-itza-hand?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=model+temple+mexico&ref=sr_gallery-1-22&organic_search_click=1

The memorial to 4 Spaniards, including Magellan, killed at the Battle of Mactan in the Philippines, built by the Spanish

With a monument like that, I'd assume they were Velasquez, St Theresa of Avilla, Cervantes, and Almodovar!

That's the job of the priests..
