Title: First 30 minutes of Henry Hill 1861
Post by: Norm on 17 December 2020, 06:59:38 PM
The opening half hour to Henry Hill 1861.

A quick and small scenario with just 7 units on the table. Black Powder rules to play a scenario from the very wargamer friendly book 'We shall meet again'.

Uses a 4' x 3' space for 28mm and 3' x 2' for the smaller scales. LINK

So did I:

"I knew I was going bald when it was taking longer and longer to wash my face."

So true!  ;D ;D ;D

p.s. @ Norm: another nice post on wargaming in small spaces. I fancy squeezing in a solo game or two over the festive period and have added this to my list (especially because I have the Robinson House!). :-bd

Hi

Great report Norm.

Actually there is a 'Bald' (Harry?) Hill, just South West Henry House Hill!  :)

Cheers Paul

Very nice, these small scenarios look like good fun and a perfect weekday evening game.

Nice small scenario Norm, the worst temptation about wargaming 1st Bull Run is trying to do all the units in their fancy uniforms for that battle like the Garibaldi Guard and the Highlanders as well as the Zouaves.
