I just received my sample pack from my honourable chinese supplier of tiny tiny magnets :)
Have a good guess how many are left in the bag, and I'll send a very nice piece of plain, dark Belgian chocolate (our country's pride next to beer and pedophiles!) to the one closest to the correct amount ;)
Mind you, I have been using a few trying to magnetize tank turrets, only to find out that (a) you need a non-magnetic pincet for 2x1 mm magnets or you'll never get anything done and (b) it is a bad idea to dip these magnets in superglue, and then move the bag with the rest of the magnets over the glued item: these magnets are so powerful they just jump up and press themselves onto the bag without you noticing it. Also watch out for metal boxes (my desk is full of them) and your pair of glasses. ;D
Rudy, mate...two things:
1] You're having fun, eh?
2] You need to get out more ;) ;D :P :D

:o that is a lot of tiny magnets, I did try to use these on tank turrets but got so pee'd off I gave up :D
well if we take the size of the bag to =x then th e number of magnets to = a then if we take xa to be the total sum, with the posiblity of some being taken out. then we come to the grand total of......
frantic muttering, calculator keys being hammered.....
the grand total being......
a lot!
2280! :D

1. Well, it was a mixed bag, in the end it went well, but the start was messy :D
2. I'm waiting for the sun to reappear! Until then I intend to spend a daily few hours in "'t kot" as my family members respectlessly call it, or "my little heaven", as I call it myself when no-one can hear :D

Me neither until I looked for the SY version...that's why I like youtube - it gives you all those suggestions on the right-hand side...it's a great Friday night game, with some drinks & friends chatting: laptop on - pick a song from the 70s / 80s & go from there: rules are you can only play your next song from the suggested list - and the same song [even if by different artists] maximum twice in a row...then you make a note of where this little musical journey takes you over the course of the evening :)
And there was me, earlier, telling you that
you needed to get out more...sheesh =O 8-} <:-P
But do you know how magnets work?

But do you know how magnets work?
They have teams of molecular pixies, with acute powers of telekinesis, who can pull the other magnet in, and then they all hold on really, really tight...
No? :-\

I'm sure it's not what Leon says :)

Tom H
aka Bilbo
Well, according to my son, there are 2204 magnets in the bag, which is nice cause I only ordered 2000. I think I'll just take his word for it :D

.
It looks like Enbaji was closest, so if you send me your mail address in pm, I'll send you a nice block of choclit, you have a choice between dark, milk and guanduja (not really nuts, but a bit like chocolates with hazelnuts / almonds - thoroughly addictive stuff)
Argh, so close!
not as close as me.... I said lots :D 2204 is lots ;D ;D ;D
I demand a recount ;) :D

I'll leave it to your imagination what happens when you open a bag with babymagnets and start taking the things out! I was inventing curses within the minute. I'm not counting them again! :D

"How do Magnets work" is a way to troll religeon websites, especially Mormons.

How does that work then?
