Guiseppe writes a sad letter to his son, who is in prison:
"...I'm sorry you aren't here to help me dig over the garden to plant tomatoes as usual, my son. We'll just have to buy them at ridiculous prices from the shops this year if I can't find someone to help...."
Tonio replies:
"...my dear father, whatever you do, don't get anyone in to dig up the vegetable garden. That's where I buried the bodies after the Vancetti shooting....."
And, tipped off by the prison censor, twenty strapping police officers dig over Giuseppe's vegetable garden that afternoon in a futile search for the bodies....
That's so bad.......... ;D
