Good work
I've been painting 10mm for 7 1/2 years.
I really hate it when people say "oh this is my first 10mm" ... and then I compare it to what is on my table. >:(
I'm just jealous.
Great work.

They'll look nice when they are finished :d
Looks like you did the scatter before the paint/varnish was dry.
Excellent, but you forgot the flag.

what do you mean?
I think Jim is seeing some of the drybrushing effect as if scatter has become stuck to the figures. I think this is because the photos are quite light. Personally I like that drybrush technique, particularly as French greatcoats of the period were actually lighter than most gamers paint them.

what do you mean?
The green material on your bases is what I call 'scatter'.
It looks like it is also on your figures as well as the base.
They look damn fine :-bd....Especially if these were your first go at this scale. :)

The ones with the long bendy, snappable, rifles look like Magister Militum figures, the old Perrin range.
Nice work, that man !
Cheers - Phil :)
That flag is brilliant! Love the effort in the edging and label and all is superb. (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)

Seconded on the flag :-bd
Lovely to see one of my favourite wargame periods has captured somebody else's attention. The French infantry flag is the only cast flag I have ever liked and it does paint up well.

Many Congratulations if that flag is painted! It is so precise I had assumed it was a printed flag stuck onto the metal!
It does look good but to me it looks likke it is printed and stuck on, given the visible hard edge in the second 'photo. Even so it is extremely well done and very impressive.
Well done!

Seems to me that a lot of the guys above need to get down to Specsavers asap. :-B
Like Steve J, I had noticed the shadow on the corner but nevertheless was quite impressed by how you had (presumably) shrunk the flag and cut it down to the exact shape of the moulded flag. :-bd
