Trajan is beating them silly this afternoon.
You mean Lee is using the Romans ?
She's just been paddied by the Romans. But those Sarmatian allies gave me some nasty moments.
We recorded the engagement, of course.
A few more pictures. The Mauri feroces failed either to evade or defeat the Dacian nobles, one of the weaker barbarian units. The artillery supporting the legionaries - including some on the Tiberius mking its way down the Danube - was useful, however; many enemy forces were already a bit softened up by the time we crossed swords.
The Equites Promoti predictably crumbled in the face of a Sarmatian charge. There was an ambush of Batavi auxilliaries in the wood, but a critical failure of Roman command meant I couldn't get them into effective action, although everything else was right. After this the legions began to save the situation, but the Dacian general put her camera away, so no more images.
You must have really upped your sacrifices to Fortuna lately. Well done.
Well done and another lovely looking game.

Lee demands a rematch today....
...which was unwise of her. First time in years I've won a battle without taking a single casualty!
The world's turned upside down. There's been a lot of madness of late, but this really takes the biscuit. Our great General Lee has lost her touch and Alexander is emulating his Great forebearer. I just don't know anymore.... :o
Well done.
Fake news!!!
:o :o :o
:P

Well, Dacians can beat Romans, and Lee's remembered how to win a battle.
Well done, that man ! :)
Cheers - Phil
Lee was leading the Dacians. Have recent West Country events confused your sense of gender identity, old boy?
Na - Phil is always confused.
A small move towards normality ;)
Well done Lee =D> =D> =D>
