So, I have got to ask. What happened? Did the forum software collapse under the weight of all his posts? Did he manage to delete his own account while pushing putty? Does anyone know?
:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
Was wondering similar. Hopefully everything's okay.
I know the reasons, all is well, he's taking a moment to breathe.
More news later.

Phew, that's good news.
Got a bit worried there for a while!
Ah, yes! The secret of a long life - keep breathing :)
He certainly has enough in his life that might require a time out!
Will, if you're in touch, feel free to remind him he has my phone number, should he want to use it. I wouldn't want to intrude unnecessarily but I'm sure I speak for us all if I say we wouldn't want him to think we didn't care!
Glad to hear all is well too.
I'd been wondering too, hope all is well. Much love.
Got a garbled message from Phil etched on the inside of a vintage Stella can: turns out it was all to do with that DAB malarkey! It was the only way THEY could get his attention!
Something about a top secret mission, as the only surviving native speaker of Elder High Enochian, to save the world - or something!

That's good to hear #:-S
As others have said let him know we are thinking of him if you are in contact >:<
Crivvens, this is all getting a bit dramatic!
From the man himself:

I'm fine...Just completely cream crackered, and needing a proper break. I don't think I've had more than odd single days off in the past 10 years....and those days off have almost all been because of my back having more than its usual whinge.😉
I'm going to have a week or two completely away from pushing putty....I'll probably get bored after just one week, and then ask Leon to press a button, so I can play again.
The reason for suspending myself, was mostly to take away the temptation of constantly checking the forum.....LOL😃 That and being even MORE grumpy than I usually am.
If anyone else has asked....Feel free to copy and paste this.
So, what we actually have here a classic "the daft old bugger going down the shops, his relations turning up and finding the front door open with no-one at home, sparking a massive manhunt" scenario #-o
Everyone step down from Defcon-2 and relax ;)
What have I missed?
:o
Crivvens! Maybe the old bugger is human after all!
Gentlemen. I think we should all rise a glass to salute Techno - colleague, friend, mentor and butt - and hope for his speedy recovery. If you have a religion, pray for him. If you don't ... well have another glass.
Good to hear, and a well deserved rest, I would say. And about time, from the looks of it.
Thanks for the update.
Quick update, I blame my bluddy furrenerness for the choice of words in the title here. Sorry about that.

Hah! Did something like that myself last Saturday.
Tesco grocery delivery saw me at an open front door with hands full of plastic bags. Flipped the door shut with my ample behind, or so I thought, and wandered off to the kitchen to put stuff away, dropping a couple of things from an overfull bag on the hall floor.
Meantime, door had swung partly open. My upstairs neighbour's four year old daughter spotted this and got her Mum. She called out to me but got no answer because I was in the kitchen with the radio going and a tap running.
She was just deciding whether to call the police or get another neighbour to help her investigate whether I was still breathing when I strolled out of the living room looking for the dropped items, large as life and twice as ugly!
Much relief all round :)
Well done that four year old =D> =D> =D> =D>
Good to have neighbours that care enough to check :-bd
This thread panicked me a bit until I'd read to the bottom. I'd thought "you step away from the forum for a day or so and god-knows-what happens!". ;D
Sorry about that, wrong choice of words there.
It's all right, lads. Given the part of the country he's in, we can always set the balloon on him if he tries to escape.*
* as fans of The Prisoner will know.

I understood that.
He is considerably further south than Port Merrion Westmarcher
Hes way too far South. Below Thomas. Far beyond Ivor
He beyond Y Gwyll...
We should also remember that he's met Dr Who (in Cardiff) ...... but not in this or the last century.
I,d heard he was an extar in the very first series, as well as an advisor on the religoius acts of the cavemen represented, being a retired shaman
I've just heard that, for the first time in 10 years, Phil's local A&E has been given the rest of the weekend off.
Meanwhile, the balloon up North in Portmeirion is no longer on standby, having just heard about Techno's propensity for holding sharp objects.

He can make even the act of putting on his dressing gown appear as a gesture of defiance.

No. They met in the 23rd century. :-\
When I mention to new members of the forum that some threads are "well weird" this is the sort of thread I'm referring to. :)

You've obviously just not entered it from the appropriate place in the spacetime continuum: just rotate 3 points widdershins through the z-plane and adjust for the purple drift :-B
Gentlemen,
With Techno's absence, temporary I'm sure, I think we must face the fact that we are without a butt for our "jokes". I suggest we appoint an extraordinary butt, on a short term basis, with an option to extend.
I know this must seem as if I am touting for the position, but I must decline in advance. Delighted as I would be to accept the honour, I'm afraid there are better candidates.
Will describes himself as mad.........
Mad, bad and dangerous to know!
Hmmm. I think we need someone who isn't likely to come round your house and decimate your shrubbery.
What about Westie?
Heh! I heard read that! >:(
:P
Title had me worried as well. Glad he is just taking a well earned rest
Might be an idea for Leon to change the title, if he can easily...

Yes to "Techno is off having a skive"

Yes please. Don't want to worry everyone needlessly.
How about "Where's Techno"?
I just hope he's regenerating. I heard about that from a famous Doctor Who said it was quite natural.
Whatever he's up to, I hope it works.
Right, the thread title has been changed. Thanks Leon!
:-bd :-bd :-bd
He's probably helping Will repair his fracking hole that's been causing all the earthquakes of late around Leighton Buzzard ;) :D.
So we're depending on Mad Lemmey & Techno to save the world X_X :-SS :-SS :-SS X_X
We're doomed ;) :D!
Muhahahahs

I can just imagine Techno on his hands and Knees around the Fracking hole trying to fill it in with his putty ! ;D
I was going to mention him in his Dressing gown ! but im sure non of us want that picture in his head. =)
regards
Sean
Perhaps Leon needs to commission a book - "Wheres Techno"
In the same vein as "Wheres Wally" we could have pictures of various scenes:-
Pendraken towers
Various Shows
Games workshop production line
He could be dressed in a shirt and jeans with his long wild "Covid 19" hair , and a suitable plaster or bandage on some part of his body. All the other people could be wargamers of "Traditional Wargamer Build. In the usual Jeans and T shirts.
The aim would be find techno and guess how he got the injury for the bandage or plaster he had on. (anwswers at back of book.
To make it more realistic and to compensate for no shows this year you could have a "Scratch and Sniff " panel on each page that when scratched smelt of a B.O. :-& :-&
