I have a question about the relative sizes of the following trucks:
BRV73 - Bedford QL 3 tonne truck
BRV74 - CMP 15cwt truck
BRV72 - Morris Commercial CS8, 3/4 tonne truck
Since one imperial ton = 20 cwt, the sizes of these three trucks are 60 cwt, 15 cwt and 15 cwt. But, the CMP 15 cwt model is closer in size to the Bedford 60 cwt than the Morris 15 cwt. What am I missing?

It's the vehicle carrying capacity in cargo weight, not the weight (or size) of the vehicle.
Mark has hit it on the head. A good example post war is the Landrover SWB - 1/4 tonne, Airportable - 1/2 tonne, LWB - 3/4 tonne. Also it's often a nominal figure, our Bedford RL's gained 25% when the TK based vehickes came in - they were 4 tonners, the RL had been a traditional 3 tonner - which had been the capacity of military lorries since WW1.
