Title: Another run out with Never mind the Billhooks - Dungborough battle
Post by: Norm on 11 September 2020, 02:21:20 PM
Another run out with the 'Never Mind the Billhooks' wars of the Roses rules, presented freely in this months wargames Illustrated magazine.

This time out, a terrain objective was added and I was using the official printed cards from WI.

An excellent AAR Norm and some good post game thoughts too.

Thanks for another interesting battle report - looks like a worthwhile set of rules for the Wars of the Roses and as it uses standard base sizes could have those scaled down to work with smaller miniatures.

An interesting write up as usual Norm :)

As Steve J suggested in the blog comments using a small die on the base would be one way to track casualties
You could use the colour of the die to denote the side (red or blue) or perhaps the ward if you use more colours :-\

Thanks all. I think most gamers will want to track casualties with dice and unit strengths of 12 and 6 help with that for the 50% morale trigger
