EWhat are you doing at the moment ? For 6mm I use sticks and blu tack, otherwise dont bother, since I brush paint the undercoat

I mount mine on tongue depressors, stuck on with double sided tape. It makes them easy to handle, except say the King Tigers or other heavy bits of metal where you have to be a bit more careful when moving them around. Some blu-tac underneath would be a good as a secondary fix.

I use Copydex or Bostic/Uhu depending on the size of the vehicle.

I use uhu for figures as they have a lower footprint to mas  ratio !

Standard rule - if it's 10mm or smaller - base it first then paint; if it's 15mm or more, paint first then base.

I paint all my SCW/WW2 vehicles, and figures, on their bases.
