Good work on those - fields are always great to have
With the church perhaps some Christmas decorations for the bells? (I know I am suggesting this in May)
Nice one Forbes
:-bd =D> :-bd
Nice one Will, you can never have enough fields and that church looks like a useful piece of kit.
Very nice indeed, Will. :-bd
Cheers - Phil
Nice job Will, the TimeCast fields are superb, I have their ponds on order and have high hopes for them.
I use their ponds frequently too. They're ace.
Four Timecast road junctions I've been ignoring for too long...

The Timecast stuff is nice and you've done a great paint job on this 8).
Very nice, Will ! 8)

That has come out very nicely.
The Timecast buildings are very nice, with crisp edges and smooth surfaces; they paint nicely and look very good.
However, I'm being drawn to the "Total Battle Miniatures" ranges. I feel that they are not quite as fine as the Timecast buildings, but that's a very debatable point, but I do like their standard "footprint" approach. The buildings sit with 100mm x 60mm bases for the churches, 80mm x 40mm bases for the larger buildings and 40mm x 40mm bases for the smaller buildings.
This means that, if you like to use "landscaped" village/town bases, the buildings can be interchangeable. I'm planning to make a few scratchbuilt buildings for my LOA Flanders armies and I will be keeping to 80mm x 40mm and 40mm x 40mm base sizes.
Timecast are accurate to the actual buildings (I've been travelling with them, they take photos and tape measurements), plus Barrie was in photo reconnaissance.

Ooooh - Piccys pls (when you get em done)
The Total Battle Buildings are very nice, and are good for gaming, as they have a reduced footprint.

I knew they were based on actually buildings, but didn't know that level of research went in to them.
I've got TBM and Timecast buildings, but from different periods, but I'm not sure they are that compatible with each other style wise.
Nice house.
I realy like theTimecast stuff. they are a delight to paint and I have quite a few. They do have a relatively large footprint when compared to other ranges.
More building added

Look damn good to me, Will !
See what you mean about 'not square'....Probably wouldn't have noticed that if you hadn't mentioned it.
Cheers - Phil
Very good
Phil timber framed buildings are very rarely true, particularly in damp climates - the timber warps !
Nicely done

I like bigger buildings. I tend too use a fairly small figure ration: in WWII it's 1:1, in Napoleonics (if I ever get any painted ) it's 1:10. Bigger buildings look better IMHO.
A few more 10mm buildings, firstly from Battlescale.

Cool stuff Will 8).
Very nice looking buildings, Will.
Those look great, much nicer than my middle eastern buildings which have little more than a base coat and wash at this point!
Have you any tips for achieving those weathering effects?
White base, brown wash, white highlights, basing colour highlights, white highlight, stonegrey highlights. Roof was washed and then stonegrey again.
Cheers, I'd gone with a sandy brown/grey and a wash, but think some white would go well on them.

And only slightly late for Eid al-Fitr
Superb.
I really like the "ww2 vehicle window" technique applied to those shops.
I really like the Battlescale buildings and find they work very well with the Escenografia ones.
David had a spare 3d printed castle ruin which I bought off him. Useful strongpoint in many future games I feel.
