Also, I agree with Paul, those are splendid!
very nicely done.
Lovely painting, but nothing will ever get me to like bases effectively a metre high.
Very nicely done, indeed.....They look cracking ! :-bd =D> :-bd

Hello and welcome, top work.
Picture like that make we wonder why I bother! :'(

Voltigeurs and Grenadiers to follow?
Cheers,
Rob
Wow, beautifully painted figures. Detail and definition on the figures is great ( now I can appreciate the sculpturing skills)Forgive my ignorance, but why the large / thick bases? Is it personal preference, rule requirements or easier to hold/ see?asking as going to be basing mine soon and considering options.
Keep up the excellent standard, but got to admit jealous of your skills
🐵
Looking good
These look stunning, when can we expect to see more? Looks very intriguing.
Um... who's going to tell him about the flags...
You mean 2nd Empire Guards Grenadiers?
The eagles are amazing though! 8)
Stunning work 8).
Thank you for the nice replies.
Thought I'd mention the reasons for the "Meter High" bases. The miniatures are used in my Commands & Colors Napoleonic game.
As some of you may already know, C&C N is a board game that uses wooden blocks and stickers to represent units and leaders. I've basically laid the block down and replaced the sticker with 10mm miniatures. In C&C N Grenadiers and Light inf. are represented by separate units.
I'm terribly sorry about the flags.

Thanks for the explanation on C&C. Never played it so I didn't know about the bases or the separate units.
Cheers,
Rob
