An AAR of my first Covid-19 isolation game can be found on my Blog. Hope you enjoy it.

These 'taster' photos look good. I'll drop by at your blog, later, Steve (garden calls now that I've finished my cuppa).

Excellent game.   The terrain is fantastic - particularly the river and village.

Well done !

Thanks chaps.

@ Westmarcher: Too cold to do what I wanted to do in the garden today, but looking good for tomorrow :).

@ Glorfindel: The river I made myself and the buildings are all by Leven Miniatures and lovely they are too.

Superb game, love your table, gives a really great look to the game! I intend to do a BKC AVBCW (or a local version of it) at some point myself, though still a ways off in the future given the various piles of projects I have built up!

Inspiring stuff, hope to see more in future. :-bd

Steve, finally had a chance to look through your blog post and very much enjoyed the large number of pics. Your layouts are always so well conceived and constructed. I like the ultra clean look. AVBCW is a genre that is lovely to look at but I am sure that I miss many of the nuances and depth of flavor that only native Britishers can appreciate.

Thanks for the lovely detour I took investigating the K2 (or is a K6?) telephone box near the center of Ridgeway and the life of sir Giles Gilbert Scott. :)

I'm sure this has been mentioned before......But roughly what 'date' is a VBCW set in, or around ?

Late thirties  (ish) ?

Cheers - Phil.

Bill, many thanks for your kind words which are greatly appreciated and I'm glad you liked the look of the game.

Phil, it is 'set' in 1938 during the abdication crisis, but can easily be tweaked a year or so later if required.

Great report, Steve. Mind you, I had my troubles with the abbreviation/acronyms thingies but I got there in the end. Great layout and models.  :-bd

Sorry for the abbreviations/acronyms confusion. Next time I shall put the full unit/force name in with the abbreviation in brackets next to it. Hope that will help?
