For the moment, yes. After some 34 years of work, I want to do my own thing and not be beholden to anyone for a while. Once I've had a break, I may take up some part-time work, but I have plenty to keep me occupied for the foreseeable future.

So my retirement gift clearly was to sweep Steve's forces from the field with devastating volleys and whiffs of grapeshot. The book of lessons still stays on the shelf, it was me last week that didn't open it.
