We're slowly revamping some of our older Ancients ranges and it's time for the Dacians to get the treatment! We've taken the opportunity to split this range into a separate Sarmatian list and add some extra codes to both of these new ranges, including ballista, slingers, mounted archers and more!
Thanks go to Will Denham for all of his work helping us with these new ranges!

Following these, we'll have revamped Greeks and Persians ready in the next few weeks as well, so keep an eye out for those!
These look great, looking forward to seeing the Greeks and Persians too!
Seconded, no pressure ;)
The crew for that ballista look more generic than AIR7, useful for a number of armies :)
Goody. May even get a Dacian army some day.
A request, probably of interest to many: could we have a bolt-shooting catapult one of these days with an open wooden framework? The metal frame existed, but wasn't the most common type down the centuries.
Okay,
My order will be in later! :x :x =D>
These look great
Take care
Andy
Cracking!
Excellent stuff.
Wish you'd photographed the 3rd horse archer from the other side. I got it into my head that he's wearing helicopter hat and now I can't get rid of it.

Early attempt to improve mobility in bad terrain?
I've wanted a cataphract army since about 1970. :-\

Hmmm, I'm not sure there have
been many since 1970.
I would have though the only ancient army for Nobby is Roman, after all it has lots of Centurions.
IanS ;)
Ba-dom-cha! ;D
'tis true, 'tis true.
I think Pendraken may now have sufficient for me to proxy a Byzantine army. :D :D :D
I've also been quite keen on a Roman-British (Arthurian if you will) heavy skirmish against the dastardly Saxons.
Mine have arrived. Wow. 8)
NO! NO! NO!. I have several hundred Dacians from the old range - I do not need any more, even if they are very nice :'(

May I just say the new Dacians and Sarmatians look rather spiffing. I am trying to find a legit excuse to get some. I have an ancient german army in 10mm and expanding into ancient British. I can certainly use the archers for eg. but it is the Dacian spearmen I am most attracted to; the sculpting is lovely of course but the poses in particular will allow for some excellent looking warband bases. Aaaarrgghh...I seriously don't need more lead!
You do.....You DO !! ;)

To quote the Bard, "You're in the wrong place, my friend, you'd better leave" ;)
My name is Nathan, and I'm a recovering leadoholic. I don't
need another army, but...
Nathan, may I refer you to my previous comment OH YES YOIU DO
Say it louder Ian, there's one at the back didn't catch it :D

OH YES YOIU DO
Like the subliminal 'I' in the middle of the 'you' . . .
Hmmm, it seems Ian isn't the innocent simpleton that people think.
I never thought he was innocent ;D
Never been caught mate. :d
Same thing. Nothings a crime except being caught :D
