Anyone got / played these?
I've been reading these with interest: http://tacticalminiaturesgaming.blogspot.com/search/label/Song%20of%20Drums%20and%20Shakos and, with some 28mm figures that I'm working on at the moment, I'm interested to see how they play...I might do some 10mm skirmishing too at some point.
I've been planning to use Voltigeur, which is the Napoleonic variant for WH "Legends" series [from Spirit of the Game - here: http://www.spiritofthegame.org.uk/voltigeur/index.htm] because it's free & I'm familiar with the system, but always keen to look at other rules...
Seen the fantasy version a few times, but not played - seem quick to play.

They're funky, eh? 8)
These rules are made by Ganesha, the same authors that wrote the Song and Blade engine, from which the brilliant Flying Lead skirmish rules evolved. the latter are written by Rich Jones and Andrea Sfiligoi. I haven't played the Nappie rules, but I can confirm that the basics are sound, fast, and very well though out: quick, simple, good movement system, initiative system that rewards tactical thinking. From what I read on the description they have the same Leader/NCO structure as Flying Lead, and that's good.

I have been thinking of Sharp Pracice by the Lardies...It looks quite fun to
